Time to go home

Cleaning up the room, zipping up the suitcase, waiting here, waiting there, going to the grocery store and then walking to our car. SURPRISE ! The same lady is responsible for our group. She is so nice. She liked us so much that she made us some cookies at home !!!!

The last full day

We went by the waterfront to look at some cruising ships, got a bit of history from the statues that link very well with our subjects in social studies in class. We stopped by the public library and its 5 floors, ate pitas outside, went down again for the Discovery center, ate a BBQ offered by the FIFA for the Canada game, walked back to the souvenir shop and … finally played games with some staff from the hostel. Oufff Laurence’s watch says the number of steps we walked today: you wouldn’t believe it.

You ordering in a take out is something, holding your hair might calm you. 

The pool was again amazing, the sun was hot but two boys didn’t want to get wet. Finally, one went … Could you guess which one ?

We were still tired

Yesterday was exhausting. So we went for breakfast at Cora a little later than normal. We headed to the Citadel and stopped by the wave on our way back. We got food for tomorrow breakfast at the grocery store after having stop at Cow’s for great frozen cones on that hot day. Then it was time to eat, call home, relax on the roof patio. No mosquitoes ;)

The guitar is on the train

Yeah yesterday we spent time singing in the service car, that gave us the opportunity to chat with other people in the train. 

Oufff what a day !

The train was late, but really late. We finally made it at 9:30PM. Got our bags, got our rooms, got our Monday night pizza and now we are finally heading to bed. It’s almost tomorrow !!!

Getting closer to departure

We put the number of school days by the door, tearing off a number everyday waiting for the final day. We spent time preparing the new couch for the school yard gazebo and we received our t-shirts last week
