Hi !
I’m Michael, I have a dog, her name is Roxy. I have almost never seen her eyes Because she is very hairy, she is black and she’s small, like you can see on the picture. Beside the little garage that you can see ( it is yellow beige ), there is a cage that my father made with wood and railings. I have a rabbit in this cage its name is Tilap and I don’t know why I name it like that. It is black and white. It is very big. It doesn’t love when we pet it, because Tilap is very shy. My mother took the picture last year in our backyard.
Our house is big and yellow. Our backyard is long but not very wide.
I live just beside the big garage Autopro ( it is a painting garage or bodyshop ).
I live in the small village of St-Clément.
The little ATV that you can see it’s mine! I had it at my birthday last year it will cost me five birthdays without gift. It is a SUZUKI, quadsport 80cc. It is yellow and I ride it with my cousin Thomas April who has a motorbike.
I like to live in the village because I’m close to the school. I only need to past in front of four houses and I am in the school yard. I also like it because I can ride my Bicycle with my friends. But I don’t like it because I do not have a lot of place to ride my ATV.
Now I will tell you what is my family. My family is made of five people, my mother Christine, she is a teacher in Trois-Pistoles, in secondary three. My father Pierre, he is a carpenter who works at a lot of places in the Bas St-Laurent. My sister Judith, she is nine years old, she’s in grade three. And my brother Nicolas, he is six years old, he is a kindergarten.
I am the oldest child in my family.

Marc-André's first novel

Hello,
My name is Marc-André Lepage. I want to present you what is my first novel in English. Its title is ’’Quiet on the set’’ from the series Katie Kazoo Switcheroo. The book talks about Katie and her friends. They knew that a movie will be filmed in their town with their favorite actress: Rosie Moran.
After school all the kids went on Main Street because a scene of the movie will be filmed on this side of the street. When they arrive at the Main Street Miriam (Katie’s friend) want to have an autograph from Rosie. But Rosie doesn’t want and she said to Miriam to go away. After that, everybody thought that Rosie is a bad person. After, Rosie’s assistant, Amy Edmunds, said that Rosie was very sorry about that. When the scene started the director said to Rosie that she’s not a normal girl, she is reacting like a star. That’s why he said we will start again when she will be more a real girl. Katie said ‘’I have an idea she can come in my school‘’ and Rosie said that it was a good idea. Now she will try to integrate Katie’s class. After Rosie did the scene of the movie and the magic wind came on Rosie and Katie. This magic wind will maybe change her life !

The principal character is Katie Kazoo. In this book, there are 12 pictures and 78 pages. In it I found about 4 or 5 words that I didn’t know and I was obligated to look in the dictionary. My book is made by Nancy Krulik. What was fun in this book is that it was easy to understand.

Annie's first novel

Hello!

My name is Annie. This week I read my first novel Write On. This book comes from a serie named : Katie Kazoo, Switcheroo. Now, I will talk about my book.
Katie’s favorite author, Nellie Farrow was coming to visit her class and to tell them about her new book. Instead of reading the book, Katie started to work on a website with her friend Suzanne and she forgot to read it. Then suddenly just before the presentation, the magic wind came and Katie became Nellie, just when she was about to do her presentation. So, she had problems… How to do a presentation about a book you never read ?

It was great when Katie became Nellie, it’s a funny adventure and the plot was good. Katie was the principal character but there were other like Suzanne, her friend, and Nellie Farrow the author. Some words were hard like pulled out and spninning so I looked in the dictionary. I found that it was an interesting book, sometimes the pictures helped me to understand. I had a great time reading my book, there was 75 pages and at the end of the book they explained a recipe that Katie did in her cooking class.The author is Nancy Krulik she did a good job! I had difficulty to choose one book in the serie Katie Kazoo Switcheroo, but I did a good choice because it’s an excellent book.

Hello pen pals!!!

I will tell you about a book that I read few days ago. The title is Halloween Fraidy-Cat. The author of this book is Abby Klein. I chose this book because I like to be scared, I love to do NIGHTMARE, that’s why I took a scary book.

The principal character is Freddy and there are two other important characters; Max and Suzie. What I don’t like is that there are not enough pages, there are only 95 pages and too much images but they were nice. What I liked in the book is that it was scary and it was a funny novel to read. Do you know why we tell Freddy (FRAIDY-CAT), it’s because he’s afraid of everything. Like one time he goes at the costume store to buy a costume to go to a party. To go see the costume he needed he past in front of the mask wall and he did nightmares during few nights. At the end Max did a HALLOWEEN PARTY with all his friends and his father tried to scare the kids with pieces of brain, eye balls, worms and more, a real scary party.

So I recommend this book if you want to be scared and if you want to laugh !
